How does this CC affect engine performance?
If the engine capacity is high more volume of air-fuel mixture enters into the cylinder and burn instantly so the power output of that engine is high.
The capacity of the engine can be decided by the optimum value of both power and mileage as a requirement.
If you need more power you should go for a higher CC engine but in this case, your mileage decreases as it depends on fact that the lower the fuel used to move crankshaft the higher the millage.
So heavy vehicles are provided with higher CC engines as they need more power or torque to carry such heavy loads. And small vehicles are provided with lower CC engines as mileage is the main criterion.
